Anteaterman Anteaterman by Ultraviolet

So, I had gone walking around the London zoo and saw the local Giant Anteater do a little excited-like run and snort and just be all anteater-crazy-like. It was so cute! It just fuelled my current anteater obcession, so I did a little doodle. I want to make an anteater character but no idea how he'd fit into anything in the world of Shi' Imora. The doodle was on the back of a printout hence the words you can see in the backround XD. Left it there to add, uh, ... character to the sketch *cough* Yes,.. not me being lazy to edit it out at all! XD Also the text over him doesn't really relate to anything, I just felt like putting something random there. It's actually a snippit of lyrics from Icon of Coil's song, Thrillcapsule (was listening to the Mooniter Remix at the time). So there you have it, I love anteaters :3

A gift for Asandria because she is made of lovely and awesome! Pretty bat lady in her underwears and a santa hat. I'm late doing xmas art. XD Started as a doodle in ballpoint pen, no pencils at all. Which then was going to be a speed painting in photoshop and just got into it too much to be a just a simple speed painting. Hope you like it miss! <3

Ultraviolet digimon! Er, or something like that XD Mostly playing with a different technique in photoshop. May use it for something, don't know what though. Edited and reposted, as I disliked the original composition and background for it. I didn't want to complicate it, wanted to keep it simple but still make it a bit more visually interesting. First piece I've done as part of the Dark Gemini Project with fellow artist Sangluna. Versa, one of the two twin demi-gods of mystery, beauty, creativity and duality. Sitting on the throne in his dilapidated shrine. With a little feline friend no less. I used this piece as a challege for myself. I can be so timid about actually using foreshortening in this manner. I need to do it more and stop being 'scared' of using it XD This one isn't perfect by any means, but hopefully its a good step for me in the process of learning ^^

Title, because i feel so exceptionally creative with naming pieces lately ;D This piece was for Albino Kitsune since she was so lovely as to bestow another year of subscription on me. (Thank you again hun!) She wanted UV with her arm around her own batty character, Ritu. Can't say for sure what UV is saying, but she does look like she's embarrassing Ritu and has that slightly wicked expression. This is actually a piece from a few years ago that I recently rediscovered hiding on my hard-drive XD I originally made this as part of the design for my website, but it didn't quite mesh with it. Though it is simple I still feel it makes a nice stand-alone image. It's a kind of small, nocturnal, Shi'Imoran dragon. Males have bioluminescent 'flags' for attracting mates. Though sometimes it attracts the curiousity of other creatures. ^_^

Commission for Eric Duffy. His two characters, an otter lady and young bat boy relaxing on a bed and entertaining themselves with their favorite pastimes. The shading didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped but I am still happy with the over all warm feeling which is exactly what I wanted.

A silly entry for Rage's Air-raid siren contest. The challenge was to make a creature that would make the air-raid siren sound. From the beginning I had this silly idea. Turns out almost all the entries at this point in time took it all seriously. All creepy and wierd critters. No problem with that, but well, Im just silly and look for a chance to do something a lil out of the norm ;)

Just a little doodle for myself. I so adore Azriel. He like a muse and generally appears in my doodles when i least expect it XD He was drawn on the front of a little memo pad I have. I Thought it was cute, so i scanned it and colored it in photoshop. I was going to edit out the binding but I kinda like the look of it there ^_^ So it's not much, but it's cute and I think it is the first time that I have drawn an image of Azriel in his dragon form that I could post here ^_^
